The ‘Oriental Bloom' pattern is adapted from a Japanese textile called a ‘kesa' - a rectangular garment worn by Japanese Buddhist priests. Kesa are made of a sewn patchwork of cloth serving as a symbolic rendering of the universe. In a move towards a more stylish, mature look Oriental Bloom combines ornate pattern with luxurious texture and rich colour. The duvet covers sleek weave has a subtle sheen combining aqua tones with burnished gold's and on the reverse a matching plain percale.
Co-ordinating pillowcases, curtains, embroidered cushions and quilted throws are also available in this collection.
